Job summary

Helpware Inc. seeks a QA Engineer to join a US-based health plans project. You will collaborate with engineers to develop test plans, execute tests, and document results to ensure software quality.

The role focuses on functional, system, regression, and release testing, API/interface and EDI testing, with SQL data validation and defect tracking across teams. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; Bachelor's in IT.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of QA experience in healthcare/health insurance domains.
• Hands-on functional and regression testing experience.
• Experience with API/interface and EDI testing.
• Experience designing and executing test cases and managing defects.
• SQL queries for data validation.
• Strong communication with developers, teams, and clients.
• English and Spanish proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute software test plans and document results.
• Perform functional, system, regression, and release testing.
• Conduct API/interface and EDI testing.
• Design, execute, and maintain test cases.
• Validate data using SQL queries and investigate discrepancies.
• Identify, track, and manage defects with teams.
• Assist with user documentation creation and maintenance.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure product quality.
