A high-ownership role in a growing产品

Job summary

Surt AI is seeking a QA Engineer to own quality as a discipline across our platform. This is not a ticket execution role — it is an ownership role.

You will define what quality means at Surt, build the processes and tooling to support it, and be the person who gives the team confidence before anything ships. You will work closely with the Tech Lead, the frontend and backend leads, and the broader product and engineering team.

Qualifications

• Experience in QA with a strong engineering foundation.
• Ownership of quality as a domain, not just following a process.
• Ability to operate autonomously with initiative.
• Strong systems thinking and understanding of risk propagation.
• Familiarity with modern tooling and an active habit of using AI tools.
• Clear communication and the confidence to push back when not ready to ship.

Responsibilities

• Quality strategy — defining standards, coverage, and gates across the platform.
• Test planning and execution — functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing across web, mobile, and backend.
• Release confidence — owning the go/no-go signal before production deployments.
• Bug triage — prioritising issues with engineering to route and resolve.
• Test automation — identifying and building tooling to support it.
• Cross-functional collaboration — working with product, engineering, and compliance to build quality in.
