The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both Python development and test automation. You will be responsible for creating automated test scripts, supporting and training team members, and ensuring the quality of our software products. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective test strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Automation Creation: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using Python to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Support & Training: Provide ongoing support and training for team members on test automation tools, frameworks, and best practices.
• Collaboration: Work closely with software developers to understand application requirements and implement effective test strategies.
• Maintenance: Continuously enhance existing test automation frameworks for improved efficiency and effectiveness.
• Issue Resolution: Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot issues in the test automation process, providing timely solutions and recommendations.
• Documentation: Develop and maintain documentation for test automation processes, frameworks, and user guides.
• Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback on programming and test automation practices.
• Agile Practices: Engage actively in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Python development and test automation.
• Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in test automation frameworks.
• Proven experience in creating and maintaining automated test scripts.
• Excellent understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.) is advantageous.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools is a plus.
