GlobalLogic is seeking a Mid–Senior Full-Stack Python Engineer to build and scale features across our platform. You will work with Python, Django, Celery, SQL and modern front-end technologies within a typical Agile (Scrum) cycle.

Formación

• 3–5+ years of software development experience on production-grade systems and large codebases.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Django, with hands-on experience using Celery for background tasks.
• Solid database design and query optimization with PostgreSQL and familiarity with SQLite.
• Strong grasp of system design fundamentals (data flow, caching, APIs, modularity, distributed systems).
• Experience working in Linux environments and cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience in Agile/Scrum teams and using JIRA, Git, and automated testing frameworks.

Responsabilidades

We are looking for a Mid–Senior Full-Stack Python Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will build and scale features across our platform, working with modern web frameworks, asynchronous job processing, and distributed architectures.

You’ll thrive here if you enjoy navigating large codebases, have a strong foundation in system design, and value writing clean, thoroughly tested code in an active Agile (Scrum) environment.

What You’ll Do (Core Responsibilities)

• Feature Development & Architecture: Design, scope, and implement full-stack features using Python, Django, Celery, SQL, and modern front-end technologies across standard two-week sprint cycles.
• System Design & Performance: Weigh in on architecture decisions, ensuring services are secure, scalable, and performant as the codebase grows.
• Production Support & Quality: Monitor, diagnose, and triage production bugs. Deliver reliable, unit-tested code to QA to ensure high-quality releases.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, QA, sales, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical reality.
• Engineering Culture: Participate in code reviews, pair programming, sprint rituals (Planning, Stand-ups, Grooming, Retrospectives), and knowledge-sharing sessions.

What We’re Looking For (Key Requirements)

Must-Haves:

• Experience Level: 3–5+ years of software development experience working on production-grade systems and large codebases.
• Backend Expertise: Strong proficiency in Python and Django, with hands-on experience managing background task processing using Celery.
• Database & Data Modeling: Solid database design and query optimization skills in PostgreSQL and familiarity with SQLite.
• System Design & Architecture: Strong grasp of system design fundamentals (data flow, caching, APIs, modularity, and distributed systems).
• Linux & Infrastructure: Comfortable navigating Linux environments (command-line tools, shell scripting, troubleshooting) and working in Cloud environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Agile Mindset: Experience working within an Agile/Scrum team, utilizing tools like JIRA, Git, and automated testing frameworks.
