You will lead data optimization efforts, design efficient back-end data processing, and develop robust software with a strong emphasis on performance, reliability, and clean code.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with Python.
• Hands-on experience building tools using Streamlit for Snowflake.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and Snowflake.
• Experience with dbt (data build tool) for data transformation and modeling.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and optimization of databases for performance, scalability, and efficiency.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a skilled Senior Backend Engineer with a focus on database optimization and scalable software development. In this role, you'll lead initiatives to enhance database performance and develop robust backend systems capable of handling high data volumes, particularlyfor revenue-driving features.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• -Data Optimization and Database Performance: Lead the design and optimization of databases to improve performance, scalability, and efficiency, with a strong focus on query optimization, indexing strategies, and data architecture best practices;
• - Back-End Data Processing: Build and maintain efficient, scalable back-end systems to handle high data volumes, prioritizing the optimization of revenue-driving features;
• - Software Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications with an emphasis on performance, reliability, and scalability;
• - OOP and Clean Code: Write clean, modular code following Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, with proficiency in Python;
• - Collaborative Problem Solving: Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate high-level concepts into actionable, effective software solutions;
• - Event-Driven Processes: Design and implement event-driven processes to improve data flow, responsiveness, and scalability across systems.

MUST HAVES

• -4+ years of experience with Python;
• - Hands-on experience building tools using Streamlit for Snowflake;
• - Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with Snowflake;
• - Experience with dbt (data build tool) for data transformation and modeling;
