AgileEngine is seeking a Python Application Security Engineer to automate security controls and improve vulnerability management across CI/CD pipelines in Mexico City.

You will integrate SAST, DAST, and SCA into the CI/CD pipeline, tune security tools, and help deploy automated hardened baselines and secure coding patterns. This role offers a flexible schedule with remote and office options, working within a people-first culture.

Formación

• 3–5 years of commercial software engineering experience.
• Python proficiency for automation and scripting.
• Experience with CI/CD orchestration tools and vulnerability scoring frameworks.
• AppSec tooling experience or security architecture.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision on complex scripting/integration tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Pipeline Integration: Write and maintain scripts to integrate security gates (SAST/DAST/SCA) into CI/CD.
• Security Data Triage: Tune security scanning tools to reduce false positives and deliver high-confidence alerts.
• Baseline Automation: Code and deploy automated hardened baselines and secure coding patterns.
• Code-Level Remediation: Provide actionable remediation guidance in Java and Python with product teams.
