Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. in Puebla, Mexico is seeking a Python Application Security Engineer to automate security controls and embed application and cloud security checks into software development workflows.

You will design and deploy AI-enabled security automation, integrate SAST/DAST/SCA into CI/CD, and work with CSPM tools (Wiz, Prisma Cloud) to strengthen cloud posture. Strong Python coding and upper-intermediate English are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years combining software engineering and security experience.
• Strong Python coding skills for security automation.
• Hands-on familiarity with Wiz, Prisma Cloud or similar CSPM tools.
• Experience implementing deploy-time checks for IaC (Terraform).
• Experience with CSPM runtime security checks.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and deploy AI-enabled secure code scanning capabilities.
• Automate secure coding patterns and integrate with SDLC workflows.
• Architect integration of SAST/DAST/SCA into enterprise CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement runtime security checks via CSPM to maintain cloud visibility.
• Provide code-level remediation guidance to engineers.
