Job summary

Johnson Controls in Apodaca, Mexico is seeking a Purchasing Expeditor to support buyers and internal teams. You will monitor open orders, follow up with suppliers, and help protect production schedules by expediting deliveries on time and per requirements.

The role involves coordinating with planning, logistics, quality, and engineering, tracking shortages, and ensuring accurate purchasing records. A degree or equivalent experience is required, with strong communication and organizational skills

Qualifications

• University degree or 2-year degree with experience; relevant experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and prioritization abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with MS Office and ERP purchasing modules is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior buyers with purchasing goods, materials, suppliers, and services per quality, availability, and price requirements.
• Place orders and follow up on open purchases to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with planning, logistics, quality and engineering to maintain supply continuity.
• Track shortages and support recovery actions using reports and follow-ups.
• Maintain accurate purchasing data and support inventory-related follow-up as required.
