Job summary

Johnson Controls in Apodaca, Mexico, seeks a Supplier Scheduler to ensure on-time fulfillment of purchased items and maintain optimal inventory. You will analyze MRP demand, place and expedit e orders, review open requirements, and monitor vendor performance to minimize stockouts and support production schedules.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in purchasing, with strong English skills, SAP knowledge, and ability to work under pressure in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with +3 years exp in purchasing role.
• Fluent English written and spoken.
• Knowledge in running queries on SAP.
• Ability to read MRP reports, stock status reports, material variance reports.

Responsibilities

• Analyze MRP demand and replenish stocks timely.
• Place purchase orders and expedite delivery of materials to align with production program.
• Review open requirements via Follow Up or Open Order Report and expedite or defer.
• Monitor vendor performance through the OTD and provide feedback and corrective actions.
• Convey delivery, pricing, invoicing issues to vendors promptly.
• Provide forecast to specified vendors according to schedule.
• Update purchasing parameters to ensure material availability.
• Implement material-related projects.
• Resolve discrepancy problems promptly.
• Comply with activities in Safety commitments and audits.

We are looking for a **Supplier Scheduler.****What will you do?**The Supplier Scheduler is assigned to a series of items. Is responsible for assuring that the requirements for these purchased items are filled in a proper time and that the material will meet the delivery date to minimize the risk of an inventory stock-out by reviewing the Follow Up on a timely manner.
