FLF is seeking an experienced Property Damage Manager to lead the property damage operations, oversee investigations, and negotiate settlements to maximize client recovery. You will drive process improvements, collaborate with attorneys, adjusters, vendors, and clients, and guide the team toward efficient claim resolutions.

The role requires strong leadership, cross-functional coordination, and a commitment to exceptional client service within a growing personal injury law firm environment.

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years managing property damage claims, insurance operations, investigations, or risk management.
  • Strong background in investigations, negotiations, dispute resolution, and insurance recovery.
  • Extensive knowledge of property insurance policies, liability assessment, and claims handling procedures.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams with attorneys, carriers, vendors, and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and claims management platforms.

Responsabilidades

  • Lead and oversee the firm's property damage department from intake to final resolution.
  • Develop standardized workflows to improve claim handling and client experience.
  • Monitor departmental performance and implement continuous process improvements.
  • Ensure operations align with organizational objectives and quality standards.
  • Oversee investigations for residential, commercial, and vehicle property damage.
  • Evaluate cause, scope, and financial impact using documentation and evidence.
  • Review findings, repair estimates, and liability assessments for accuracy.
  • Identify discrepancies or fraud indicators needing further investigation.
  • Lead settlement negotiations with insurers, adjusters, vendors, and third parties.
  • Negotiate repair costs, claim valuations, and settlements to maximize client recovery.
  • Resolve complex disputes through strategic negotiation and policy interpretation.
  • Monitor progress for timely resolution and clear communication.
  • Build relationships with insurers, contractors, and external partners.
  • Coordinate with attorneys, case managers, and legal teams.
  • Prepare detailed reports, dashboards, and performance recommendations.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve outcomes.
  • Mentor and develop team members, driving accountability and excellence.

We are seeking an experienced Property Damage Manager to lead our property damage operations, oversee investigations, manage negotiations, and optimize the claims process from initial assessment through final resolution.

You'll collaborate closely with attorneys, adjusters, vendors, clients, and internal teams to improve operational performance while maximizing property damage recoveries and maintaining exceptional client service.

What You'll Do
Property Damage Operations & Claims Management
  • Lead and oversee the firm's property damage department, ensuring efficient management of claims from intake through final resolution.
  • Develop standardized workflows that improve claim handling, operational efficiency, and client experience.
  • Monitor departmental performance and implement continuous process improvements.
  • Ensure property damage operations align with organizational objectives and quality standards.
Claims Investigation & Damage Assessment
  • Oversee comprehensive investigations involving residential, commercial, and vehicle-related property damage claims.
  • Evaluate the cause, scope, and financial impact of property damage through documentation, inspections, and supporting evidence.
  • Review investigative findings, repair estimates, and liability assessments to ensure claim accuracy.
  • Identify discrepancies, fraud indicators, or claim risks requiring additional investigation.
Negotiation & Insurance Recovery
  • Lead settlement negotiations with insurance carriers, adjusters, vendors, and third-party stakeholders.
  • Negotiate repair costs, claim valuations, and settlement agreements that maximize client recovery.
  • Resolve complex or escalated property damage disputes through strategic negotiation and policy interpretation.
  • Monitor claim progress to ensure timely resolution and effective communication with all parties.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with insurance companies, contractors, repair facilities, engineers, and other external partners.
  • Evaluate vendor performance and ensure service quality meets organizational standards.
  • Coordinate effectively with attorneys, case managers, and legal teams to support successful case outcomes.
  • Strengthen collaboration across internal and external stakeholders to improve operational efficiency.
Compliance, Reporting & Risk Management
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, insurance requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Prepare detailed investigation reports, claim summaries, operational dashboards, and performance recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation within claims management and case management systems.
  • Identify trends, operational risks, and opportunities to improve claim outcomes and reduce financial exposure.
Leadership & Continuous Improvement
  • Mentor and support team members while fostering a culture of accountability and operational excellence.
  • Establish measurable KPIs and monitor departmental performance against business objectives.
  • Recommend improvements to claims handling procedures, reporting, and operational workflows.
  • Support strategic initiatives that strengthen the firm's property damage operations and long-term growth.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Insurance, Criminal Justice, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing property damage claims, insurance operations, investigations, or risk management.
  • Strong background in claims investigations, negotiations, dispute resolution, and insurance recovery.
  • Extensive knowledge of property insurance policies, liability assessment, and claims handling procedures.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and coordinating with attorneys, insurance carriers, vendors, and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with professional proficiency in English.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and claims management or case management platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within Personal Injury law firms or insurance carriers.
  • Previous leadership experience managing property damage teams or claims departments.
  • Experience with vehicle property damage claims and total loss evaluations.
  • Familiarity with Filevine, CCC ONE, Mitchell, Audatex, or other claims management platforms.
  • Professional certifications in Claims Management, Insurance, Risk Management, or Leadership.
