Advanced Asset Management seeks a Finance Manager – Multifamily Property Management to lead financial reporting, budgeting, and treasury activities. You will ensure GAAP/IFRS compliance, oversee forecasting, and drive profitability across multifamily portfolios.

Qualifications include strong accounting background, IFRS/GAAP expertise, and experience in risk management. The role requires leadership of finance teams and collaboration with auditors to maintain regulatory compliance.

Formación

• Proven corporate accounting experience, preferably in governmental or non-profit settings.
• Strong knowledge of IAS/IFRS, GAAP, ASC 606 standards and technical accounting practices.
• Experience in risk management, regulatory compliance, and financial planning.

Responsabilidades

• Lead preparation and analysis of financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) complying with GAAP/IFRS.
• Oversee budgeting processes, forecast performance and implement cost controls to maximize profitability.
• Manage treasury functions: cash flow analysis, payables/receivables, bank reconciliations.
• Coordinate with external auditors and ensure regulatory reporting standards are met.

Position Overview

• Lead the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
• Oversee budgeting processes, forecast financial performance, and implement cost control measures to maximize profitability across multifamily properties.
• Manage treasury functions such as cash flow analysis, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations to ensure liquidity and fiscal stability.
• Conduct risk analysis and develop mitigation strategies related to financial operations, regulatory compliance, and market fluctuations.
• Coordinate with external auditors for audits, ensure adherence to regulatory reporting standards including ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition), and maintain comprehensive documentation for governmental and non-profit accounting requirements.
• Supervise general ledger accounting, account analysis, cost accounting, and account reconciliation activities to uphold data integrity.
• Drive strategic planning initiatives by analyzing financial concepts, investment opportunities, and revenue management strategies aligned with corporate finance goals.
• Utilize advanced financial software tools for accurate bookkeeping, balance sheet reconciliation, and financial report writing.
• Lead team efforts in financial management training, fostering a culture of continuous improvement in financial acumen across the organization.

Experience

• Proven experience in corporate accounting with a strong background in governmental or non-profit accounting preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of IAS (International Accounting Standards), IFRS, GAAP, ASC 606 standards, and technical accounting practices.
• Demonstrated expertise in risk management, risk analysis, and compliance management within real estate or property management sectors.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing finance teams or cross-functional departments focused on financial planning and analysis.
• Proficiency in financial software systems such as ERP platforms or specialized real estate management tools.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data for strategic decision-making.
• Prior experience in budgeting, forecasting, investment management, cost management, and revenue recognition is highly desirable.
