Position Overview

This position reports to: Business Operations Manager in the Project Automation - Energy Division in Mexico.

Accountability & Work Model

The work model for the role is: Hybrid.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Leading the implementation of continuous improvements for the project execution strategy for local or regional Project Operations.
• Ensuring that the portfolio of projects is managed consistently based on best practices and ABB policies, controls, and requirements.
• Overseeing and leading the local Project Execution team, ensuring that ABB policies are consistently followed.
• Supervising project execution and performance management through project reviews with management and Project Managers to ensure contract fulfillment and approving any project deviations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the local management of all project execution activities within the area of responsibility.
• Ensure operations are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications and targets.
• Coordinate and oversee team development and standardized process development to continually improve the effectiveness of Project Execution teams.

Qualifications

• Immersed working with Program and Project Operations Management and the Process Automation market.
• Five years of experience in Program and Project Operations Management working as Project Operations Manager with Process Automation technologies.
• Enhanced knowledge of Program and Project Operations Management.
• Passionate about leadership, people development, and strategic thinking.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably in Control and Automation, Electronics, Mechatronic, or related).
• Proven experience of Program and Project Operations in Process Automation technologies.
• Ease communicating in English.
