ABB in San Luis Potosí seeks an Electrical Design Engineer with 2–3+ years of experience to act as a design authority for a discipline with low to medium complexity. You will develop electrical drawings and BOMs, select equipment, and support customers and proposals teams.

The role requires advanced English and familiarity with Eplan/AutoCAD Electrical, offering a path to grow within a global engineering environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/electro-mechanical/mechatronic engineering.
• 2–3+ years experience in electrical design and knowledge of electrical engineering.
• SAP proficiency.
• Experience with Eplan, AutoCAD Electrical or similar design software.
• Advanced English.

Responsabilidades

• Create electrical drawings (control diagrams).
• Create Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Select appropriate electrical equipment and applications.
• Assist customers with questions about the product.
• Assist proposals team on technical questions.

This position reports to:

Senior Project Lead Engineer

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects.

The work model for the role is:

This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution division in San Luis Potosi.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Creating Electrical Drawings (Control Diagrams)
• Creating Bills of Materials
• Selecting adequate Electrical Equipment and Application.
• Assisting customer on questions/comments regarding his product.
• Assisting proposals team on technical questions.

Qualifications For The Role

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical, Electro-mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering
• 2 - 3+ Years Experience in Electrical design and knowledge of electrical engineering
• SAP Proficiency
• Eplan, AutoCAD electrical or similar design software experience
• Advanced English
