About the Role

Our client, a prominent technology services provider based in Zapopan, Jalisco, is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure and Networks Project Manager. This role is crucial for leading the planning, execution, and successful deployment of various IT infrastructure projects, including network upgrades, data center expansions, and cloud migrations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background combined with exceptional project management skills. You will be responsible for managing project lifecycles, coordinating technical teams, ensuring system stability, and delivering solutions that meet business needs and exceed expectations. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of IT infrastructure and network projects.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate and direct cross-functional technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Ensure the successful deployment and integration of new IT infrastructure components and network solutions.
• Oversee network design, implementation, and maintenance projects, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Manage cloud migration projects, working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) as required.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and dependencies.
• Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and provide regular status reports to senior management.
• Ensure projects adhere to IT governance, security policies, and industry best practices.
• Manage vendor relationships and contract negotiations for hardware and software procurements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in IT project management, with a strong focus on infrastructure and networks.
• Proven experience managing projects involving network architecture, hardware deployment, data centers, and cloud technologies.
• Solid understanding of networking protocols, hardware, and security principles.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project).
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, CCNA, CCNP, AWS/Azure certifications are a plus.
• Ability to manage complex technical projects and drive them to successful completion.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Fluency in Spanish is required; English proficiency is highly desirable.
