Job summary

Robert Bosch Group in Mexicali, Mexico is seeking a Project Purchasing Administrator to manage regional lifecycle products and drive cost, quality, and delivery targets. The role coordinates with engineering, quality, manufacturing and logistics to implement improvement ideas and localization projects.

The successful candidate will have a engineering or related degree, 3+ years in project management, and strong English communication, with experience in manufacturing processes and supplier

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, administration or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role (Project Management).
• Strong project management skills.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes (Stamping, Turning, Plastic Injection).
• Knowledge of basic quality concepts (CpK, Tolerances, measurements).
• Advanced English communication skills required.
• Experience with global suppliers.
• Microsoft Office proficiency; SAP desirable.

Project Buyeris responsible to manage products in the regional business unit during life cycle. Ensures and controls the implementation of projects to achieve cost, quality and delivery within the business unit.

Main activities:

Project Purchasing Administrator

Search and implement cost reduction ideas, localization projects and engineering improvements, coordinating efforts within other functions such as engineering, quality, manufacturing and logistics.

Product line buyer is the main contact between business unit and commercial purchasing to secure a reliable supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, administrationor related fields.
• Min. 3 year experience in similar position (Project Managment)
• Project Management Skills
• Manufacturing Process understanding (Stamping, Turning, Plastic Injection)
• Basic Quality concepts (Cpk, Tolerances, measurements)
