Infosys Limited is seeking a skilled engineer for a hybrid role in Toluca, now considering CDMX as a potential site. You will develop and support Progress/OpenEdge applications, work with Linux environments, and manage batch processes using Control‑M or equivalent tooling.

The position emphasizes incident resolution and cross‑team collaboration. Strong scripting and remote administration skills, plus experience with file transfers and Java-related integrations, are preferred.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong experience with Progress OpenEdge Database.
• Development experience in:
  
  • Progress Character (Character Interface)
  • Progress Client/Server
  • Progress WebSpeed
• Experience working with Control‑M scheduling and batch processes.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.
• Experience using PuTTY and remote server administration tools.
• Experience developing and maintaining Shell Scripts.
• Knowledge of file transfer mechanisms:
  • SFTP
  • FTP
  • SCP
  • Command‑line file transfers
• Database query and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience supporting mission‑critical business applications.

Preferred Technical Skills

• Development experience with Java.
• Knowledge of REST/SOAP integrations.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control tools.
• Experience in Banking or Financial Services environments.
• Understanding of ITIL processes and Production Support practices.

Required Experience

• 3+ years of experience in Progress/OpenEdge development and support.
