Forvia in Mexico is seeking a Production Supervisor for the San Juan del Río plant. You will organize production, lead teams, and oversee continuous improvement initiatives to meet quality and productivity targets.

The role requires a background in process/industrial engineering with 2–3 years of supervisory experience, fluent English, and strong leadership to coach operators and drive results in a lean plant environment.

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar supervisory role.

Responsabilidades

• Organize and distribute work to ensure production programs are met with quality and productivity.
• Lead rapid response meetings for customer claims and internal defects.
• Conduct daily meetings with MOD and Management.
• Analyze and solve quality problems and monitor Internal Quality Level.
• Review efficiency and productivity by area and propose weekly production schedules.
• Oversee setup/change management, Lean tool implementation, and 5S leadership.
• Ensure compliance to shipment schedules and environmental, health and safety standards.

Your mission, roles and responsibilities

Overall responsibilities and duties:

• Organize and distribute the work among the personnel under his charge and verify that the product complies with the specifications established in the operating instructions, to guarantee the fulfillment of the production programs with the required quality indexes and at the required productivity level.

The main missions of the role are:

• Process control.
• Rapid Response Meeting Leader (Customer claims / internal defects management / Warranty claims/ Fast response / Top 1 defects / Final Inspection / Process / NC detected in Process Audits).
• Daily meeting with MOD and Management.
• Analysis and solution of Quality problems.
• Daily review of Internal Quality Level.
• Daily review of Efficiency and Productivity per area.
• Proposal for the weekly production schedule (sequence & priorities).
• Daily review of compliance to shipment.
• Set Up / Process change management.
• OK FIRST PART (Set up/ PKYK).
• Risk assessment.
• Daily quality basics review.
• Daily Follow up of lean tools implementation.
• 5S Leader.
• Scrap declaration.
• Daily follow up to Negatives inventories, Cycle counts, COGIS & SAP inventories.
• Improvement Ideas Follow up.
• Support and participate in the creation of methods to ensure the performance of the site’s management systems.

Your profile and competencies to succeed

Qualifications

Minimum education level: Process, Industrial or Electronical Engineering or similar.

Experience:

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar position.

Skills and competencies

• Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing (TPM, SMED, Cycle time).
• Strong knowledge of leading people.
• Fluent English.
• Ability to train and coach direct operators.
• Continuous improvement mindset.
• Problem Diagnosis and analytic skills to understand contexts and define/support the definition of action plans.
• Basic Knowledge of ISO 14001, 45001.
