Panasonic North America in Tijuana, Mexico seeks a Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing activities, optimize resources, monitor performance, and uphold a culture of safety, teamwork, and accountability across shifts.
You will coach and develop production personnel, assign resources to meet plans, analyze KPIs, and drive continuous improvement through Lean, 5S, and preventive actions to reduce waste and elevate productivity.
This position provides leadership to production personnel, ensures proper utilization of resources, monitors operational performance, and promotes a culture of safety, teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Supervise and coordinate daily production activities according to established production plans and priorities.
Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining safety, quality, productivity, and delivery requirements.
Lead, coach, and develop production personnel.
Assign personnel and resources according to operational requirements.
Monitor production performance and key operational indicators.
Identify production issues and implement timely corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, work instructions, and quality standards.
Promote and enforce workplace safety practices.
Monitor attendance, performance, productivity, and employee development.
Coordinate with support departments to resolve operational issues and ensure production continuity.
Support implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Promote continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
Ensure proper use and care of equipment, tools, materials, and company resources.
Maintain workplace organization and housekeeping standards.
Conduct production meetings and communicate objectives, priorities, results, and operational concerns.
Prepare and maintain production reports and required documentation.
Support employee training and cross-training activities.
Participate in internal and external audits as required.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Equivalent combination of education and relevant manufacturing experience may be considered.
3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.
Experience managing production personnel and operational priorities.
Production and manufacturing operations.
