BorgWarner Inc. busca un/a Supervisor/a de Producción para liderar y facilitar las actividades del equipo, asegurando el cumplimiento de seguridad, calidad y objetivos operativos para satisfacer los requisitos del cliente.

El/la candidato/a ideal tiene experiencia en procesos de fabricación, gestión de personal y mejoras continuas, con dominio de Microsoft Office. Ubicación: San Luis Potosí, MX. Régimen de trabajo a tiempo completo.

Formación

• Formación: licenciatura en administración mecánica, electromecánica, producción industrial, técnico o afín.
• Experiencia: 1 año o más en puesto similar.
• Conocimientos: procesos de fabricación, gestión de personal, sistemas de calidad y medio ambiente, resolución de problemas, seguridad en el trabajo, Lean Manufacturing.
• Requisitos: dominio de Microsoft Office.

Responsabilidades

• Promover y asegurar el cumplimiento de las políticas de seguridad de la empresa y dar seguimiento a la clausura oportuna de hallazgos de condiciones inseguras.
• Participar en investigaciones de accidentes/incidentes.
• Promover la conciencia ambiental.
• Ejecutar correctamente el Plan de Respuesta ante Emergencias según procedimientos establecidos.
• Realizar Auditorías de Proceso en capas (LPA) según lo programado y asegurar que los supervisores a su cargo hagan lo mismo.
• Asegurar la finalización oportuna de informes de producción (OEE), seguridad y scrap.
• Mantener actualizados de forma precisa el tablero de producción.
• Dar seguimiento a las acciones de las líneas asignadas (LPA, seguridad, ambiente, calidad, producción, mantenimiento).
• Comunicar el progreso de las acciones de cierre al equipo.
• Asignar recursos al personal bajo supervisión.
• Garantizar la formación operativa y detectar necesidades formativas en el puesto.
• Rotar al personal entre operaciones para formar un equipo multifunctional.
• Gestionar incidentes del personal.
• Participar en cursos y entrenamientos para ayudar al equipo a lograr objetivos.
• Promover metodologías de solución de problemas.
• Evaluar viabilidad de ideas de mejora y coordinar su implementación.

Job purpose

BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for “dynamic, results driven” individual to join as a Production Supervisor. The main responsibilities of this role include serve as a leader and facilitator for the team’s tasks and activities, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, production, environmental, and operational system objectives to meet customer requirements

Key responsibilities

• Promote and ensure compliance with company safety policies and follow up on the timely closure of unsafe condition findings.
• Participate in accident/incident investigations.
• Promote environmental awareness.
• Execute the Emergency Response Plan correctly according to established procedures.
• Conduct Layered Process Audits (LPA) as scheduled and ensure team leaders under supervision do the same.
• Ensure timely completion of production (OEE), safety, and scrap reports.
• Ensure accurate and timely updates to the production board.
• Follow up on the closure of actions related to assigned lines (LPA, safety, environmental, quality, production (OEE), maintenance, etc.).
• Communicate progress on action closures to the team.
• Allocate resources to personnel under supervision.
• Ensure operational training and identify training needs at the workstation.
• Rotate personnel across different operations to build a multifunctional team.
• Manage personnel incidents.
• Participate in courses, workshops, and training sessions as required to help the team achieve objectives.
• Promote problem-solving methodologies
• Evaluate the feasibility of improvement ideas proposed by team members, coordinate with the originator, and validate implementation.
• Manage the implementation and sustainment of line improvements using lean techniques such as 5S, TPM,
• Handle conflict resolution and negotiation

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

• Schooling: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical administration, Electromechanical Engineering, Industrial Production, Technical or related
• Experience Time in similar position: 1 year or more in a similar position.
• Technical knowledge required: Manufacturing processes, personnel management, quality and environmental systems, problem-solving processes, workplace safety, Lean Manufacturing
• Other requirements: Proficiency in Microsoft Office
