Job summary

Polaris Monterrey is seeking a production supervisor to lead day-to-day operations, ensure schedule attainment, quality and health & safety programs, and mentor the team. You will coordinate maintenance, manage production reports, implement continuous improvement projects, and enforce policies.

Strong leadership and communication are required. This on-site role requires 2+ years in manufacturing supervision and a technical degree; you will collaborate with multiple departments to meet deadlines

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industry experience in production supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to lead process improvements.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• High integrity and ability to enforce policies.

Responsibilities

• Direct work assignments on the production/assembly line to meet deadlines.
• Monitor housekeeping, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Prepare and maintain production reports and records; take corrective actions.

• Order and purchase equipment/materials for production.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Monitor housekeeping (5 pillars) and correct safety issues.
• Knowledge about compliance to environmental, productivity, quality and health& safety standards.
• Development and follo up of continuous improvement projects
• People management and able to enforce policies and procedures and apply disciplinary action as needed
• Previous experience in preparing and maintaining production reports and records- taking corrective action when necessary.
• Able to coordinate departmental maintenance and engineering needs Responsible for inventory analysis
• Order and purchase necessary equipment or materials for assembly or production.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in BS Mechanical or other technical engineering degree is desired or 3-5 years experience with production supervision.
• 2 years of industry experience
• Outstanding leadership, influence and communication skills Demonstrated ability to lead process improvements in a team environment
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple operations High integrity

Position Overview

Daily communication and coordination with teams, other supervisors and departments .Direct work assignments in accordance with the production schedule- plans and organizes activities of the production/assembly line to meet production deadlines.
