Carrier Global Corporation is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations and drive SQDC results. You will supervise production staff, promote a safe and collaborative culture, and ensure schedules and deliveries are met.

The role requires Lean manufacturing knowledge, problem-solving skills, and a track record of improving productivity and reducing waste in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related field.
• Experience leading production teams and managing direct labor.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience monitoring and improving production KPIs.

About the Role

We are seeking a Production Supervisor responsible for leading daily manufacturing operations and ensuring the achievement of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) objectives. This role oversees production personnel, drives operational excellence, and promotes a culture of continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing and problem-solving methodologies. The Production Supervisor plays a key role in meeting production goals, improving productivity, reducing waste, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

- Supervise daily production operations to ensure Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost targets are achieved.
- Lead, develop, and motivate production employees while fostering a safe, collaborative, and results-oriented work environment.
- Ensure daily production schedules are met and customer deliveries are completed on time.
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
- Reduce scrap rates and improve manufacturing line productivity.
- Coordinate activities to resolve material and logistics issues that could impact production.
- Support production scheduling and workflow sequencing to optimize operational performance.
- Ensure all quality-related documentation and processes comply with established standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges and support customer requirements.
- Participate in process innovation and manufacturing improvement initiatives.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in production supervision within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience managing direct labor and leading production teams.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience monitoring and improving production KPIs.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and operational control.
- Strong problem-solving and decision‑making abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple operational requirements in a fast‑paced environment.
- Results‑oriented with a strong focus on productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
