A company in the graphic arts industry in Mexico City is seeking a candidate to supervise production personnel, manage day-to-day operations, and ensure compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate has an associate’s degree in graphics or a related field, along with experience in flexo operations. Strong communication and detail-oriented skills are essential. This role contributes significantly towards fostering a productive work environment and maintaining high-quality standards in operations.

Formación

• Experience in flexo platemaking using industry equipment.
• Mac experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to obtain CPR certification.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise production personnel and participate in staffing-related activities.
• Conduct annual performance reviews.
• Manage day-to-day facility operations.

• Superviseproductionpersonnel andparticipatein other staffing-related activities as needed.
• Provide ongoing performance management to direct reports and foster a learning environment.
• Address and effectively resolve personnel or departmental issues ina timely/professional manner.
• Conduct annual performance reviews.
• Approve and manageovertime ofproduction personnel.
• Review and analyze various reports related to staffing as needed.
• Prepare and lead team meetings as needed.
• Oversee the routing of jobs within a team environment.
• Provide input to senior management andAccount Managersrelativeto meeting customer expectations for timing and delivery.
• Investigate and address quality issues.
• Participate in development and maintenance ofstandard operating procedures(SOP).
• Liaisebetweenvarious departments and stakeholders, includingPrepress,Manufacturing, Sales,andAccount and Project Managers.
• Participate in decisionsregardinglocation operations, staffing, company policies, etc.
• Provide technical support for internal and external customers.
• Manage day-to-day facility operations.
• Maintain safe and healthy work environment byestablishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures,complaining withlegal regulations
• Assistwithadditionalresponsibilities as directed by management.

Education, Experience,&CertificationRequirements

• Associate’sdegree ingraphics, print, or color management or equivalent experience in the graphic arts industry
• Experience/knowledge inflexoplatemaking using industry equipment
• Mac experience strongly preferred
• Have/able toobtain CPR certification
