Flex in Mexico seeks a Production Superintendent to lead assembly operations, manage staffing and inventory, and ensure ISO and safety standards are met. The role focuses on optimizing throughput, reducing waste with Lean tools, and sustaining a culture of quality and continuous improvement across SMT, Backend and Box Build processes.

You will coach the operations team, coordinate with other sites, implement HR actions to recruit and retain a skilled workforce, and report weekly to the senior

Job Summary

General Purpose:

Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, which we're calling SpinCo, until the name is unveiled. The spin is planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support SpinCo, which will focus on critical digital infrastructure, delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.

Responsible for effectively managing all strategic operational processes and resources and managing an organization in order to achieve and maintain operational excellence.

Principle Accountabilities

• Manage appropriate staffing and inventory levels.
• Oversee the assembly operations to meet corporate KOI.
• Supervise production staff on work method and quality checkpoints.
• Coordinate with other departments and other Flex sites to drive for excellence.
• Coordinate efforts of operations team by establishing procurement, production and engineering services policies and practices.
• Ensure ISO and safety standards are adhered to.
• Report to Senior Management team in weekly operations reviews.
• Coach and mentor Operations team.
• Leverage industry practices and apply to internal systems and processes.
• Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.

Experience we're looking to add to our team

• Completed education.
• Experience as a Production Superintendent.
• Knowledge of 5S methodology.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Knowledge of 4Q (Excel).
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools.
• Experience with SMT, Backend, and Box Build processes.
• Follow-up on Work Order closures.
• English: Basic.
• Experience supervising direct personnel and engineering teams (CFTs).
• Availability to work flexible schedules.
