Kohler Co. in Juárez is seeking a Senior Production Scheduler to manage production scheduling in SAP based on demand, forecast, and capacity. You will coordinate with the Production team to ensure on-time delivery while maintaining optimal inventory levels.

Preference is given to candidates with 4+ years of scheduling/planning experience, English proficiency, and SAP/Excel skills. This onsite role collaborates with Purchasing and Manufacturing to meet delivery targets and maintain safety

Formación

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• More than 4 years scheduling/planning experience.
• Experience in inventory control and cycle counts.
• SAP and Excel proficiency.
• Spoken and written English preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Schedule production in SAP according to supply needs and update weekly.
• Coordinate with Sr Production Scheduler and supervision to follow up on production.
• Expedite supply needs and report unfilled orders and overdue units.
• Prepare annual and monthly production schedules; assist with next year planning.
• Adjust production schedules for breakdowns, defects, or issues affecting requirements.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and Production to verify due dates for manufacturing and shipment.
• Elaborate weekly, monthly, and annual adherence reports for KPIs.
• Provide feedback to Customer Service and Supply Chain on orders and backlogs.
• Monitor new product development with the New Products team and advise on performance.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain on other production needs and propose delivery improvements.
• Comply with Health and Safety policies and responsibilities.

Production Scheduler Sr

Location:Onsite, Juarez, Nuevo León

Opportunity

Under the Coordination of the SR Production Scheduler and the general Supervision of the Materials Manager this person is in charge of scheduling production according the Marketing needs and plant capacities.

Handling production and demand reports to control inventory levels of finished product to assure objectives of the business are met. Prepare activities that helps to minimize inventory investment and assure maximum manufacturing efficiencies.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Schedule production in the system (SAP) according to Supply needs (current demand, sales forecast, safety stocks) at cast and Spray levels and update them in a weekly basis.
2. Works closely with the Sr Production Scheduler and the manufacturing supervisionto establish a follow-up process on production.
3. Expedites every supply need and provide manufacturing reports on unfilled orders, units past due, and urgent units that need to be delivered to the customers.
4. Make the annual production schedule of finish goods in weekly and monthly format and also prepare the next year schedule when it is required.
5. Prepares scheduling adjustments to the Production schedule when needed and when equipment breaks down, have defective materials or any other issue that avoid the meets of the requirements.
6. Establish close communications with the Purchasing department and Production personnel to establish, verify and met manufacturing and shipment due dates.
7. Elaborates weekly, monthly and annual adherence reports to evaluate the accomplishment of the required pieces.
8. Gives feedback to customer service department and Supply Chain Team regarding open orders and back orders.
9. Follow up the new products developments with the New Products team and give feedback of the performance if needed.
10. Works closely with the Supply Chain Team in any other production necessity and give recommendation if needed that helps to improve our delivery goals.
11. Comply with the Health and Safety Roles and Responsibilities established

EDUCATION:

Preference Bachelor´s degree

EXPERIENCE:

Preference more than 4 years scheduling/planning, Work experience in control of

inventories and cycle counts.

FORMATION:

Preference computer systems working knowledge ( SAP, excel, experience).

Preference Spoken and written English.
