Kohler Co. in Juárez, Nuevo León, Mexico, seeks a Production Scheduler to coordinate production schedules with marketing needs and plant capacities. You will report to the SR Production Scheduler and Materials Manager and manage SAP-based schedules to meet delivery goals.

The role requires 4+ years in scheduling/planning, inventory control, English proficiency, and hands-on SAP/Excel knowledge. Onsite work with Kohler emphasizes accuracy, collaboration with Purchasing, and safety adherence.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 4+ years scheduling/planning experience.
• Experience in inventory control and cycle counts.
• Proficiency with SAP and Excel.

Responsabilidades

• Schedule production in SAP according to demand and update weekly.
• Collaborate with Sr Production Scheduler to follow up on production.
• Expedite supply needs and report on unfilled orders and overdue units.
• Prepare annual production schedule weekly/monthly and for the next year.
• Adjust production schedules when equipment breaks down or material issues arise.
• Coordinate with Purchasing to meet manufacturing and shipment due dates.
• Elaborate adherence reports to evaluate production targets.
• Provide feedback to Customer Service and Supply Chain on orders.
• Coordinate with New Products team on developments when needed.
• Support delivery goals with Supply Chain and propose improvements.
• Comply with Health and Safety policies.

Under the Coordination of the SR Production Scheduler and the general Supervision of the Materials Manager this person is in charge of scheduling production according the Marketing needs and plant capacities.

Work Mode: Onsite
Location: Onsite, Juarez, Nuevo León

Opportunity

Under the Coordination of the SR Production Scheduler and the general Supervision of the Materials Manager this person is in charge of scheduling production according the Marketing needs and plant capacities.

Handling production and demand reports to control inventory levels of finished product to assure objectives of the business are met. Prepare activities that helps to minimize inventory investment and assure maximum manufacturing efficiencies.

Specific Responsibilities

• Schedule production in the system (SAP) according to Supply needs (current demand, sales forecast, safety stocks) at cast and Spray levels and update them in a weekly basis.
• Works closely with the Sr Production Scheduler and the manufacturing supervisionto establish a follow-up process on production.
• Expedites every supply need and provide manufacturing reports on unfilled orders, units past due, and urgent units that need to be delivered to the customers.
• Make the annual production schedule of finish goods in weekly and monthly format and also prepare the next year schedule when it is required.
• Prepares scheduling adjustments to the Production schedule when needed and when equipment breaks down, have defective materials or any other issue that avoid the meets of the requirements.
• Establish close communications with the Purchasing department and Production personnel to establish, verify and met manufacturing and shipment due dates.
• Elaborates weekly, monthly and annual adherence reports to evaluate the accomplishment of the required pieces.
• Gives feedback to customer service department and Supply Chain Team regarding open orders and back orders.
• Follow up the new products developments with the New Products team and give feedback of the performance if needed.
• Works closely with the Supply Chain Team in any other production necessity and give recommendation if needed that helps to improve our delivery goals.
• Comply with the Health and Safety Roles and Responsibilities established

EDUCATION:

Preference Bachelor´s degree

EXPERIENCE:

Preference more than 4 years scheduling/planning, Work experience in control of inventories and cycle counts.

FORMATION:

Preference computer systems working knowledge ( SAP, excel, experience).

Preference Spoken and written English.
