Flex is seeking a Production Planning Manager (Electronics Industry) based at Juarez South Campus, Mexico. You will oversee production planning, master scheduling, and material flow to ensure on-time delivery and efficient operations on the factory floor.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Industrial or Supply Chain, proven leadership on production lines, and experience with ERP systems. English proficiency is a plus, and competitive benefits are offered.

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, supply chain or materials logistics.
• Previous experience in a similar production planning role on the factory floor.
• ERP system knowledge would be a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and manage production forecast based on master plan, timelines and material needs.
• Adjust plans to changes in demand and communicate updates to relevant parties.
• Produce revenue investigation and annual operating plan and other forecast reports.
• Report production status to upper management and resolve line disruptions.
• Lead production control functions including Master Scheduling, Production Planning/Coordination, Shop Scheduling, and Dispatching.
• Develop material planning models to ensure proper material planning and optimal inventory levels.
• Approve quantities and schedules for material control to ensure timely procurement and issuance.
• Maintain reports reflecting scheduling methods and performance.
• Interface with customers to ensure delivery commitments are met.

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Production Planning Manager (Electronics Industry) located in Juarez South Campus, Mexico.

The Production Planning Manager will be responsible for overseeing operational activities in the production floor, addressing bottlenecks and find solutions as well as attending improvement in processes to material flow and work orders.

What a typical day looks like:

• Develop and manage production forecast based on master plan, timelines, material needs to define production requirements based on plant capacity, which are aligned with company goals.
• Adjust plans as necessary to accommodate changes in demand, communicate updates to all relevant parties and ensure material supplies able to meet the changes
• Produces revenue investigation and annual operating (AOP) plan and other forecast reports.
• Reporting on the production status and any production issues to upper management
• Liaise with operation team to resolve daily production line disruption and productivity issues.
• In charge of the development and implementation of the company’s production control functions including Master Scheduling, Production Planning/Coordination, Shop Scheduling, and Dispatching.
• Develop material planning models to ensure proper material planning and optimal inventory positions for customer programs. Utilizes models for defining material planning parameters for components.
• Approves quantities, schedules and parts list provided to the material control organization to ensure timely and complete ordering, receipt and issuance of production material requirements.
• Maintains reports to reflect scheduling, methods, holding up performance and process procedures.
• Interfaces with customers to ensure delivery dedications are met and with subordinates, functional peer group managers and senior management.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor's degree in related field (Industrial, supply chain, materials logistics).
• Previous experience in similar position, solving operational problems on production floor.
• ERP system knowledge would be a plus.
• Strong leadership skills, able to take important decisions and lead a team to improve efficiency.
• Good communication skills.
• English intermediate will be an advantage.
