Job summary

The Gund Company in Mexico is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily production activities, ensure safety and quality, and drive on-time delivery. You will coordinate schedules, provide direction and coaching, monitor performance metrics, troubleshoot issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

You will lead a team, enforce safety policies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and develop staff to build capability.

Qualifications

Proven track record of coaching, mentoring, and motivating team members.
Experience using ERP/MRP systems and production management tools.
Experience troubleshooting & root cause analysis (Kaizen, 5Why, Fishbone).
Bachelor's degree required; 2+ years manufacturing leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily production activities to ensure safe, efficient operations.
Conduct regular production meetings communicating priorities, goals, and safety topics.
Coordinate production schedules, staffing requirements, and workflow to meet demands.
Monitor production metrics and identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, delivery, and cost.
Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve challenges.
Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety and efficiency.
Coach, train, mentor, and develop production employees to build capability.
Maintain staffing coverage and communicate workforce needs to management.
Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.
