Job summary

Clarios is seeking a Production Engineer to drive targets while maintaining safety, quality, and environmental standards in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will lead shift-starts, coach teams, and ensure continuous improvement across TPM, LPA, and quality systems.

Ideal candidates will have strong SPC knowledge, experience with ISO/IATF standards, and a proven ability to develop high-performance teams in a metalworking or automotive-adjacent context. English proficiency preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Experience supervising production operations in manufacturing environments.
• Experience with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and EHS management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily start-of-shift meetings and ensure PPE compliance.
• Promote safety culture and address unsafe conditions.
• Ensure PPE and LOTO procedures are followed.
• Authorize and oversee special work permits (hot work, heights, confined space).
• Conduct SafeTrack observations and drive corrective actions.
• Support TPM and maintenance work orders to ensure uptime.
• Drive continuous improvement with Lean, 5S, SMED and problem-solving.
• Lead High Performance Teams to achieve KPIs.
