• 3+ years as Product Owner/PM in enterprise SaaS contexts.
• Experience with Agile workflows (Scrum/Kanban).
• Experience with RICE/WSJF prioritization.
• Strong customer empathy and root-cause analysis.
• Data-driven validation of hypotheses for product decisions.
• Strong stakeholder management including senior leadership.
• Familiar with cloud infrastructure and APIs (AWS, GCP, REST, SCIM).
• Ability to read architecture diagrams and understand frontend/backend relations.
• Ability to prototype with scripts or AI-assisted tools.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Slack, Miro.

Tential is seeking an experienced Platform Product Owner to manage enterprise tools and platforms, lead product discovery, and translate complex business problems into prioritized, measurable product outcomes. This role is best suited for someone comfortable working through ambiguity, engaging directly with stakeholders, and using data to determine what should - and should not - be built.

Responsibilities

• Product Discovery: Conduct stakeholder and user interviews to validate problem areas, identify root causes, and distinguish feature requests from problems that deliver meaningful business value.
• Prioritization: Own and continuously prioritize the backlog using data and frameworks such as RICE or WSJF, focusing the team on the highest-value work.
• User Stories & Success Criteria: Write clear, concise user stories and define measurable success criteria for product initiatives.
• Platform Partnership: Work closely with technical leads and enterprise SaaS vendors to identify opportunities that improve platform capabilities, scalability, and user value.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as a translator between leadership, internal customers, vendors, and engineering teams, managing expectations around scope, timelines, cost, and priorities.
• Communication: Communicate progress and outcomes through demos, reviews, presentations, and written updates.
• Agile Delivery: Participate in Agile ceremonies as the voice of the customer and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver value continuously.
• Outcome Measurement: Use metrics such as time-to-value, adoption, and business impact to evaluate success and validate product hypotheses.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar product-focused role, ideally supporting enterprise SaaS platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Agile workflows such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Experience applying prioritization frameworks such as RICE, WSJF, or comparable methods.
• Strong customer empathy and the ability to validate pain points, identify root causes, and push back constructively when work is not a priority.
• Ability to use data and experimentation to validate hypotheses and guide product decisions.
• Strong stakeholder-management skills, including experience communicating with senior leadership and technical teams.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and APIs, such as AWS, GCP, REST APIs, or SCIM provisioning.
• Ability to read architecture diagrams and understand the relationship between frontend, backend, integrations, and platform services.
• Ability to write simple scripts or use AI-assisted tools to create working prototypes and accelerate discovery.
• Strong organizational skills and experience with collaboration/productivity tools such as Jira, Confluence, Slack, and Miro.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
• Experience working directly with enterprise SaaS vendors.
• Experience in the video game industry or another complex digital-product environment.
