Jabil in Mexico seeks a Product Engineering Technician to support engineering changes, maintain documentation, and ensure configuration control throughout product lifecycles. You will work with cross-functional teams to implement changes, review drawings, and verify documentation aligns with revisions.

The role requires 1–3 years in electronics manufacturing or related technical functions, with knowledge of ECO/ECN processes and ERP/PLM systems.

Responsabilidades

• Execute ECOs, ECNs, BOM/AML updates and related documentation.
• Maintain documentation accuracy and ensure compliance with customer and company requirements.
• Support configuration control and revision management throughout the product lifecycle.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, datasheets, and manufacturing instructions.
• Coordinate implementation of engineering changes within manufacturing operations.
• Verify materials, tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing documentation are aligned with approved revisions.
• Perform line audits and validation checks of engineering changes.
• Support impact assessments and risk evaluations associated with engineering changes.
• Assist Product Engineers with validation activities including First Article builds and trials.
• Investigate and troubleshoot documentation, BOM, and configuration-related issues.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Test Engineering, Materials, Planning, and Supply Chain to resolve issues.
• Track engineering action items and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Facilitate communication between engineering and manufacturing teams for technical requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to engineering documentation, change management, and process execution.
• Maintain compliance with engineering procedures, quality standards, and customer requirements.

Education & Experience Requirements

• Technical Degree, Associate Degree, or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in electronics manufacturing, engineering support, product engineering, or related technical functions.
• Experience supporting engineering change implementation, documentation control, or manufacturing operations preferred.
• Experience with ERP, PLM, SAP, Agile, or equivalent systems preferred.
• Understanding of validation activities, product configuration control, and manufacturing processes preferred.
• Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
