HP in Mexico is seeking a Product Engineer to lead internal and external stakeholders, drive product quality improvements, and oversee analyses of defective units across development and manufacturing phases.

You will coordinate with partners to reduce defects, improve reliability and cost efficiency, mentor junior staff, and deliver clear technical reports while guiding projects from concept to production.

Formación

• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Typically has 4-7 years of work experience in product design & development or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinates and leads activities of internal and outsourced development and manufacturing partners to support manufacture of products.
• Performs engineering analysis of defective product units or sub-assemblies, with root-cause analysis in production matters.
• Evaluates results of customer feedback and manufacturing, test, and quality assurance processes for products and communicates issue analysis to stakeholders.
• Collaborates with management and partners to address issues, recommend and implement changes to reduce defects, improve quality, and lower costs.
• Represents product engineering team for all phases of larger and more complex development and manufacturing projects.
• Solves difficult problems with independent judgment and creates innovative solutions.
• Develops recommendations on changes to manufacturing processes to improve reliability and safety.
• Leads moderate to high complexity projects and supports operational and strategic plans.
• Delivers professionally written reports and supports realization of strategic plans.
• Mentors less-experienced staff to promote excellence in product engineering.
