Flex is seeking a Product Engineer in Guadalajara, South Campus, to support teams building great products and contribute to growth. Qualifications
- BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
- Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Fluent English oral and written.
- Previous experience in Product Engineering.
- Experience with MRP Systems.
- Experience with Floor shop systems.
- Experience owning an account under their charge.
- Experience leading the process for new product introduction (NPI).
- Experience in ECOs implementation.
- Experience with Baan V (MRP) is a plus.
- Experience with Flex Flow (Floor shop system) is also a plus.
- Experience in Product Lifecycle systems (Agile, Arena, Procom) is also a plus.
Responsibilities
- Handle product transfer and new product setup.
- Support production by assessing product engineering issues on the production line.
- Suggest improvements to processes to obtain better quality and yield.
- Solve product-related problems and perform failure analysis.
- Interact with customers and various departments on product issues.
- Lead Engineering Changes implementation.
- Conduct Design for Manufacturing (DFM), tolerance analysis, DOE and root-cause analysis.
- Provide CAD-based analysis of parts and assemblies.
- Provide product training to manufacturing/process engineers.
