Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC is seeking a Product Engineer to support engineering maintenance and mechanical design of electronic products for commercial vehicles. The role includes design changes, prototyping, DFMEAs, PPAP, and test planning, with cross-functional collaboration across plants in Mexico and the USA.

Candidates should have 3+ years in a structured engineering environment, experience with CAD/PLM, and knowledge of IATF16949.

Formación

• 3 years of experience in a structured engineering environment required; IATF16949 experience preferred.
• Direct experience in production facilities is preferred.
• Exposure to automated testing and results analysis preferred.
• Engineering change processes understanding; CAD and PLM tools; 3D modeling and drawings.

Responsabilidades

• Support production release of electronic products, coordinating with designers and technicians.
• Create test plans, oversee testing, interpret results and document testing in DVP&R.
• Author design and product specifications, component drawings and test specs.
• Update DFMEAs and other safety-related analyses.
• Interface with manufacturing and quality teams to implement modifications.
• Support IPA and PPAP processes with plant teams.
• Travel to work with Bendix customers and production facilities in Mexico and the USA.
