International Automotive Components (IAC) Group in Toluca, Mexico, seeks an experienced interface engineer to bridge product development, customers, and production for new programs, mass production, and service parts.

You will manage engineering changes, BOMs, drawings updates, and validation plans while ensuring GD&T and CAD model specifications are met, with advanced English required.

Formación

• Experience in automotive industry and plastic injection processes.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Generate RFQs and ECNs to initiate engineering changes.
• Maintain BOM in Teamcenter and Excel for each product.
• Create and follow up on DRs in Teamcenter for drawings and GD&T.
• Develop, execute, and track validation plans for new products or changes.
• Ensure compliance with product specifications in drawings, datasheets, and CAD models.

Position Overview

Serve as the technical interface between product development, the customer, and the production team for new programs, mass production programs, and service parts, ensuring the specifications and functionality defined for each product.

Responsibilities

• Generate RFQs (Request for Quotation) and ECNs (Engineering Change Notices) to initiate engineering changes, including updates to product structure, changes in manufacturing locations, supplier changes, and the creation of new part numbers in Teamcenter.
• Maintain and update the Bill of Materials (BOM) in Teamcenter and Excel, when applicable, for each product across all programs.
• Create and follow up on DRs (Design Requests) in Teamcenter for updating internal drawings and GD&T requirements for each product across all programs, whether due to engineering changes, part number updates, or new product development.
• Develop, execute, and track validation plans for new products or engineering changes across all programs.
• Ensure compliance with and updates to product specifications as reflected in drawings, Technical Data Sheets, and CAD models.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field

Experience

• Experience in the automotive industry and in plastic injection processes
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position or more
• Advanced English
