Eaton Corporation in Querétaro, MX, is seeking a Product Design Engineer to support product lines and lead value engineering projects. The role collaborates with Marketing, Quality, Production, Materials, and Sourcing to manufacture products efficiently and to meet customer needs.

The position emphasizes design reviews, DFMEA/PFMEA sessions, and coordination with global teams to ensure quality and cost-effective solutions.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (preferred).
• Experience with power systems equipment and operation is preferred.
• 3-5 years as a product or design engineer.

Responsabilidades

• Provides direct product support and analyzes assembly activities.
• Supports design improvements and material options for cost reductions.
• Reviews drawings, BOMs and specifications through ECN/ECR process.
• Collaborates with production on cost reduction initiatives (Vitality).
• Generates lab requests and analyses for testing.
• Works with Marketing to meet customer needs.
• Coordinates with Querétaro and global cross-functional staff.
