Job summary

Siemens Energy in León, Mexico invites a Trainee Procurement to support the supply chain by handling purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and resolving sourcing challenges. You will collaborate with Planning, Logistics, Warehouse, and Customs to keep production on schedule.

With a Bachelor’s degree in International Trade and strong communication skills in English, you’ll build supplier relationships and contribute to cost objectives while learning key procurement processes in a global energy

• Procurement experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong adaptability, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary supplier contact and maintain relationships.
• Place purchase orders per pricing and strategies, coordinating with Strategic Buyers.
• Ensure on-time material availability with Planning, Logistics, Warehouse, and Customs.
• Manage deliveries, documentation, invoices, and supplier non-conformance follow-up.
• Support continuity of supply chain and manufacturing needs through timely communication.

As an Trainee Procurment, you will play a key role in ensuring the continuous flow of materials required for manufacturing operations. Working closely with suppliers, Planning, Logistics, Warehouse, Customs, and Strategic Procurement teams, you will manage purchase orders, monitor deliveries, and resolve supply chain challenges to help ensure production schedules are met while supporting quality and cost objectives.

• Act as the primary point of contact for suppliers and maintain effective supplier relationships.
• Place purchase orders according to agreed pricing and procurement strategies while coordinating closely with Strategic Buyers.
• Ensure on-time material availability by collaborating with Planning, Logistics, Warehouse, and Customs teams.
• Manage deliveries, supporting documentation, invoice processing, and supplier non-conformance follow-up.
• Support supply chain continuity and manufacturing requirements through timely communication and issue resolution.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in International Trade or a related field.
• Professional experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or related functions is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong adaptability, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Professional English communication skills.
