RHI Magnesita in Mexico is seeking a Junior Procurement Analyst to join an in-office team in Tlalnepantla. You will report to the Head of Procurement and manage logistics procurement, supplier onboarding, and risk oversight.

Fluency in Spanish and English is required, along with a bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of experience. Start date is immediate, with an application deadline of July 28, 2026.

• Support supplier risk management.
• Prepare reports, market analyses, and performance metrics.
• Coordinate activities with Operations, Logistics, Finance, and Compliance.
• Provide support for regional procurement projects for Latin America.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and corporate ethics.

Your position

As a Junior Procurement Analyst, you will report directly to the Head of Procurement and play an integral role in the team.

You will:

• Manage procurement and contracting processes for logistics services
• Identify and develop new suppliers
• Monitor the supplier onboarding, approval, and evaluation process.
• Support supplier risk management
• Prepare reports, market analyses, and performance metrics
• Coordinate activities with internal departments such as Operations, Logistics, Finance, and Compliance.
• Provide support for regional procurement projects for Latin America.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, procurement procedures, and corporate ethics standards.

Your profile

As a Junior Procurement, you will be responsible for conducting bidding, negotiation, and contracting processes, ensuring competitive pricing, service quality, compliance with corporate policies, and risk mitigation throughout the supply chain.

• The ideal candidate will sup port logistics service procurement and supplier risk management activities in Mexico and other countries in Latin America (primarily Argentina, Chile, Colombia, and Peru).
• Fluent in SPANISH and ENGLISH
• Excellent Strategic, Problem solving, and organizational skills
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Ensures policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports, customers and stakeholders.

Education and Professional Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, industrial engineering, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of work experience industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
• Teamwork and cross-cultural collaboration.
• Results-oriented.
• Sense of urgency
• Proactivity and a commitment to continuous learning.

Technical and Core Competencies

• Knowledge of Product storage
• Knowledge in SAP
• High proficient with MS Office Suite of products, specifically MS Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Power BI
