RHI Magnesita N.V. in Monterrey is seeking a Service Machinery Engineer to secure high uptime of critical plant equipment through proactive inspections, preventive and electromechanical maintenance, and spare parts management.

The role demands hands-on work and strong safety discipline in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with technical teams and customers, coordinate with the central machinery department, and report on maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety

Formación

• Proven hands-on mechanical repair and fabrication skills.
• Familiar with electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
• Experience with sensors and instrumentation in industrial settings.
• Experience with equipment installation and commissioning.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure availability of RHIMAG machinery via inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Perform electromechanical maintenance and spare parts management.
• Ensure safe operation per RHIMAG standards at each plant.
• Coordinate with technical departments, customers, and central machinery team; report on tasks.

Service Machinery Engineer

Start Date: Immediate

The Service Technician is responsible for ensuring the availability of RHI Magnesita-owned machinery through inspections, preventive maintenance, and electromechanical maintenance at customer plants, as well as spare parts management.

It is essential to ensure the safe operation of machinery in accordance with RHI Magnesita standards and the specific requirements of each plant.

Close coordination with RHI Magnesita's technical departments, customers, and the central RHIMAG Machinery Department is required, along with follow-up on assigned tasks and report preparation.

Requirements

• Mechanical repair, cutting, and welding skills
• Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic diagrams
• Experience with sensors and instrumentation

• Experience in electrical controls
• Remote troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Minimum 3 years of industry experience
• Advanced English proficiency
