Amazon is hiring a Purchasing Assistant for Amazon Logistics (AMZL) to support the site's procurement operations, including forecasting, inventory management, and purchase order handling. You will participate in supplier KPI reporting and work with stakeholders to identify deviations and drive improvements.

You will help align with building leadership to drive efficiencies, manage non-inventory items, and support budgeting targets across locations within the AMZL network.

Formación

• 1+ years of procurement experience.
• 2+ years of Microsoft Office products experience.
• Experience in oral and written communication in English.

Responsabilidades

• Align with the Site Procurement Operations Manager to provide procurement operations for the building, including forecasting, inventory management, non-inventory flow and space models, cycle counts, supplier management, procurement transaction and expediting support.
• Manage non-inventory receiving.
• Develop deep knowledge of building Non Inventory items and align with like buildings to drive best practices.
• Manage related KPI to measure, control and benchmark procurement processes including creation of recurring metrics reports.
• Support relationship development across the building and network.
• Align with Internal customers, Finance and Procurement Operations to understand budget targets by building to develop an agreed method of measuring and defining savings and category metrics.
• Assist in building the category metrics model to track performance to the category strategy.
• Measure actual vs planned savings and advise team on trends and action plans.
• Manage and maintain supplier scorecards.
• Support the procurement operations and category management teams.
