Job summary

Celestica in Monterrey, MX seeks a Director of Procurement Operations to lead global purchasing for customer accounts and market segments. This senior role oversees a large team, drives supplier performance, and partners with internal stakeholders to align demand and cost improvements.

You will shape long-term procurement plans, collaborate with commodity management, monitor analytics, and launch new business initiatives.

Qualifications

14+ years supply chain experience with diverse manufacturing, SCM and customer-focused teams.
Procurement leadership in an ODM or EMS environment with strong supplier relationships in electronics.
Experience with Lean and MRP-based purchasing models.
Sourcing/Commodity Management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Create long-term procurement plans to anticipate market trends and customer expectations.
Collaborate with Commodity Management and Planning to drive clear outcomes and supplier flexibility programs.
Monitor analytics to spot trends and proactively address customer and client needs.
Support the successful launch of all new Celestica business.
Lead production status meetings and drive revenue attainment with cross-functional teams.
Develop supplier relationships to improve performance and ensure demand/supply alignment.
Drive continuous improvement for faster procure-to-pay outcomes.
Mentor and supervise a diverse global team of directors and managers.
