Siemens Energy is seeking a Procurement Expeditor for Gas Services in Querétaro, Mexico. The role focuses on ensuring timely delivery by monitoring POs, following up with suppliers, and maintaining accurate shipping data within SAP.

As a Procurement Expeditor for Gas Services, you will help ensure the timely delivery of materials and components by proactively following up with suppliers, tracking purchase order confirmations and shipping information, and escalating delivery risks. You will work closely with buyers, suppliers, logistics, and internal customers to maintain accurate order information and protect project schedules.
Monitor open purchase orders and drive timely order confirmations, delivery-date updates, and shipping information.
Follow up proactively with suppliers to identify and prevent potential delivery delays.
Maintain accurate purchase order and shipping information in SAP and other procurement systems, as applicable.
Communicate delivery risks, missing updates, and supplier concerns to the responsible Buyer and support escalation plans.
Respond to internal customer requests and provide clear, timely status updates on critical orders.
Collaborate with Procurement, Logistics, and cross-functional teams to support material availability and project execution.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain , Business Administration, International Business, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
Previous experience in procurement, supply chain, logistics, order management, or supplier follow-up is preferred.
Working knowledge of purchase orders, delivery dates, shipping documentation, and supplier communication.
Knowledge of SAP is desirable.
Advanced English, with the ability to maintain professional conversations and communicate effectively in English with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Strong follow-up, organization, prioritization, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and escalating risks in a timely manner.
Customer-focused and collaborative approach when working with suppliers, buyers, logistics, and internal teams.
You will join the Gas Services Procurement team and work closely with Buyers, Expeditors, Logistics, suppliers, and internal customers. The team focuses on proactive supplier engagement, reliable purchase order execution, timely delivery, and early escalation of supply risks to support customer and project requirements.
