SEGULA Technologies in Mexico City is seeking a Program Buyer with 3–5 years of purchasing experience in the automotive sector. You will lead sourcing for assigned vehicle programs from concept through launch, develop strategies for quality, cost, and delivery, and negotiate terms with suppliers to achieve savings.

Collaborating with engineering, quality, and program management teams, you will monitor supplier performance, manage risk, and support cost-reduction initiatives.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of purchasing/procurement experience in the automotive industry.
• Proven track record in supplier negotiations and contract management.
• Understanding of automotive program development phases (APQP, PPAP).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead sourcing and procurement activities for assigned vehicle programs from concept through launch.
• Develop and execute purchasing strategies aligned with program goals for quality, cost, and delivery.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable conditions.
• Coordinate with engineering, quality, and program management teams to ensure supplier compliance with specifications and milestones.
• Manage supplier performance, risk assessment, and escalation processes as needed.
• Track purchasing KPIs and provide regular status updates to program leadership.
• Support cost‑reduction initiatives, tooling procurement, and change management activities.
