Job summary

Daimler Truck México seeks a data-driven professional to provide operational support to Central Purchasing Operations. You will leverage BI, analytics, and automation to drive data-driven decisions, ensure policy compliance, and identify value-added options.

Build dashboards and automation solutions to improve efficiency and scalability. Ideal candidates have purchasing experience, cross-functional collaboration skills, and strong English/Spanish language proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in Supply and Logistics Management or Business Intelligence; OR associate with 1 year related experience.
• Experience in purchasing with international/cross-functional teams is preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• Data analysis, dashboard development, process automation and business intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Manage a defined set of requisitions ensuring correct processing (RfQs, contracts, rejections).
• Handle returned quotes, prepare contract documents and evaluation materials.
• Support internal and external customers, track deadlines, and monitor procurement activities.
• Process ticket requests from Buyers including contract prep, analysis, quality checks, and reporting.
• Mentor CPO Agents on processes, analytics tools and best practices.
• Generate and implement continuous improvement measures for efficiency, quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
• Identify, develop, and implement automation to streamline procurement processes and reduce manual effort.
• Develop and maintain procurement dashboards using Excel, Power BI, Power Query and reporting tools.
