Hutchinson in Ensenada, Mexico, is seeking a procurement professional to manage raw materials, tooling, and services for a dynamic automotive manufacturing environment. You will execute MRP actions, source internationally, evaluate quotations, and maintain supplier schedules to ensure smooth production.

The role requires 0–3 years in procurement, strong English skills, and experience working with suppliers and purchasing processes.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 0-3 years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, or Material Planning.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
• Experience working with suppliers and purchasing processes.

Responsabilidades

• Manage procurement activities for raw materials, tooling, spare parts, and operational services.
• Execute MRP-generated action messages, including releasing, expediting, rescheduling, and canceling purchase orders.
• Source and purchase products and services from suppliers in Mexico, the United States, and other international markets.
• Evaluate supplier quotations, negotiate commercial terms, lead times, and delivery commitments.
• Maintain and administer purchase orders and supplier schedules within the MRP system.
• Monitor inventory levels and support material planning requirements to ensure continuous production.
• Coordinate deliveries based on production forecasts, market conditions, warehouse capacity, and material availability.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Track supplier performance, costs, delivery metrics, and procurement records.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, quality standards, operational excellence programs, and compliance requirements.
• Ensure uninterrupted supply of materials and prevent production downtime caused by material shortages.
