A global automotive supplier is seeking a professional to oversee the inventory and maintenance of production tools. The ideal candidate will have a technical education in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering and at least 3 years of experience in a similar role. This role offers an opportunity to collaborate with various teams to enhance efficiency and productivity in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Formación

  • Oversee the availability, maintenance, and inventory of production tools and equipment.
  • Work with engineers and technicians to implement process improvements.
  • Maintain accurate records of tool inventory, maintenance schedules, and operations.
  • Provide training and support to production staff on tool usage.
  • Identify and resolve tool-related issues to minimize downtime.

Marelli Automotive Lighting designs, develops and integrates a wide and complete range of top‑notch solutions for external automotive lighting systems, as well as innovative sensors to support future ADAS/AD features including LiDAR‑sensor technology.

Your Responsibilities will be:
  • Oversee the availability, maintenance, and inventory of production tools and equipment.
  • Work with engineers and technicians to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Maintain accurate records of tool inventory, maintenance schedules, and operations.
  • Assess and procure new tools and equipment based on production needs.
  • Provide training and technical support to production staff on the proper use of tools.
  • Identify and resolve tool‑related issues to minimize downtime.
  • Liaise with various departments to ensure alignment and efficiency in processes.
  • Ensure all tools and equipment comply with safety and quality standards.
What Qualifications you will bring:
  • Technical education or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
