Jabil in Mexico is seeking a Test Engineer to manage the Test Engineering Process and related activities. You will analyze yield reports, reduce operator errors, and drive corrective actions to improve manufacturing and test performance.

The role involves maintaining process documentation, performing test evaluations, setting up equipment, and ensuring compliance with quality standards while supporting maintenance programs to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general technical instructions and procedures.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information to groups of managers, clients, and customers.
• Experience with statistics and quality control concepts is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Analyze daily process yield reports (operator errors, defects, test equipment issues) and drive corrective actions.
• Increase production yields by reducing operator errors and root-cause defects.
• Assist in developing preventative maintenance programs to reduce downtime.
• Review test procedures and ensure compliance with workmanship standards.
• Set up equipment for programming and verification tests following established procedures.
