Job description

Eaton’s IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Process Quality Supervisor (TCP).

Eaton announced, on June 11, 2026, the intent to combine its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) with a new company. We expect to complete this process by the end of the first half of 2027. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the transaction closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.

What you’ll do

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

• A. Monitors and improves a quality system in the manufacturing process. Manages process engineers and provides support to managers, BTLs and supervisors on the tools and techniques of quality improvement. These will include problem solving techniques, Six Sigma, IATF-16949, and process improvement techniques like Kaizen principles.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• A. Provides support on customer requirements, complaints, information submission and acts as primary contact for customers
• B. Provides support to customer quality team. Acts as liaison between customer quality group and plant quality department
• C. Provides support to quality engineers on all actions focused on process controls development and monitoring
• D. Provides support on the implementation of quality systems (EQMS, IATF TS 16949)
• E. Provides support on the development of PFMEA’s and PPAP’s
• F. Participates in & leads structured team problem solving & applies statistical & other problem-solving tools
• G. Interacts with & assist customers on quality related issues, report root cause & corrective actions back to customer support engineer; conduct customer visits if needed
• H. Actively participates in manufacturing & process improvement teams as the voice of the customer
• I. Participates as a member of APQP teams to bring product to market
• J. Assists in the development & presentation of cost of quality measurements
• K. Assists in identifying & coordinating quality related training programs
• L. Leads SPC through the plant
• M. Implements, promotes and maintains a safe work environment by implementing a culture of accidents prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance and application of rules
• N. Promotes the company’s mission and vision by actively supporting Eaton’s ethics and values as well as quality policies
• O. Motivates and coach quality engineers to maintain high levels of satisfaction, productivity, and quality through effectively utilizing available rewards and recognition channels to encourage and promote desired behaviors and results.

Qualifications

• A. Bachelors degree in engineering (Quality, Statistics, preferred)
• B. 5 years experience applying quality tools in a manufacturing environment, automotive preferred
• C. Advanced English proficiency required, with fluent verbal communication skills to actively participate in technical and business meetings with U.S.-based teams, discuss project updates, and communicate quality issues and solutions
• D. Certificate Quality Engineer (CQE) is a plus
• E. Six Sigma Blackbelt or Greenbelt would be a plus
• F. Strong statistics and problem-solving technics
• G. Strong communication skills
• H. Thorough knowledge of statistics & statistical process control, including gauge repeatability & reproducibility studies
• I. Knowledge of metrology, including CMM application & programming preferred
• J. Strong knowledge of geometric dimensioning & tolerance (GD&T) principles
• K. Strong knowledge of AIAG and ISO standards
• L. Proficiency in problem solving & quality techniques including:
• o SPC
• o PFMEA
• o PPAP
• o 8-D problem solving
• o APQP
• o MSA
• o Capability Analysis
• o Problem Solving
• M. Ability to communicate in the English language
