ZF LIFETEC in Chihuahua, MX is seeking a Process Manufacturing Engineer I, II, or III/Expert to manage quotations for new products and engineering changes, and oversee equipment expenses while maintaining profitability, effectiveness, and continuous improvement.

You will drive automation knowledge, line capacity analysis, KPI updates, and collaboration with sales and corporate teams to keep projects on time and financially healthy.

Formación

• Mechanical/electro-mechanical or mechatronic background with strong analytical skills.
• Broad range of industrial engineering tools and methods applied to process improvements.
• Experience with automation projects and process optimization.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in new projects, engineering changes, or improvements.
• Apply automation know-how and coordinate integrators for new processes.
• Update and maintain equipment KPIs and performance data.
• Analyze line capacity and liaise with customer and sales teams.
• Support cross-department process improvements with solid data.
• Keep projects on schedule and within budget with corporate alignment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible to manage quotations of new products and engineering changes, equipment expenses. Maintain goals of profitability, effectiveness, adaptability, responsiveness, quality, and the continuous improvement of products throughout their life cycle.

Your Tasks

• Participate during the process of new projects, engineering changes or improvements needed.


• Strong knowledge in Automatization, integrators communication and developing new processes.


• Responsible to update and maintain equipment KPI’s.


• Strong knowledge in line capacity analysis and communication with customer & sales department.


• Support other departments developing a solid process and data to support process improvement through the organization.


• Keep projects on time and financially healthy, according to the milestones, with constant communication with corporate team.


• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Your Profile

• Mechanical, Electro-mechanical, Mechatronic Engineer or any other career with strong analytical ability required.


• Understanding of broad range of industrial engineering tools (ie. Work measurement, simulation, process mapping, facilities and workstation design, operations research, etc.)


• Able to develop process improvements using design of experiments.


• Knowledge on sensors, cameras, PLC’s.


• Strong communication skills in Spanish and English


• Proficient in Microsoft Office.


• Self-managed and Self-motivated to achieve results.
