Job summary

MODEC México seeks a seasoned Process Engineer to support FPSO day-to-day operations, ensuring safe and efficient process plant performance. You will track production, chemical usage, and regulatory compliance while coordinating with offshore teams and management for timely actions and reports.

The role requires a degree in Process or Chemical Engineering, 6+ years in Oil & Gas with FPSO exposure, and advanced English, plus 10+ years in asset integrity management under ISO55000/ISO14224

Qualifications

• Degree in Process Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
• 6 years’ experience as a Process Engineer in Oil & Gas industry. FPSO experience is desirable.
• Advanced English.
• + 10 years' experience in risk-based asset integrity related to equipment maintenance and reliability management.
• Detailed knowledge of Asset Management (ISO55000) and ISO14224 application and implementation.
• Good knowledge and understanding of the applicable Local and International Regulations and Standards requirements for Oil & Gas Industry.

Responsibilities

• Track and record the daily production figures of oil, natural gas, produced water and water injection.
• Track and record all chemicals consumption for topsides, marine and utilities, including fuel consumption.
• Liaise with Production Superintendent to ensure all Production Team members are trained and deemed competent to operate the FPSO Process Systems.
• Liaise with On/Offshore Teams to ensure compliance with all Contractual and Local Regulatory chemical analyzes.
• Liaise with Production and Maintenance Superintendents to ensure all laboratory analyses are performed following procedures and standards.
• Be the custodian of the corrective and preventive actions close out regards to the root cause analysis investigation related to process plant trips or malfunction.

Support the Operations Department to manage the FPSO day-to-day operations safely and efficiently to achieve organizational objectives. Provide process technical assistance for track and record of process plant. Guarantee safe and efficient performance of the process plant, assisting Management with information and reports as required.
