Flex seeks a Process Engineer in Guadalajara to strengthen our manufacturing teams. You will focus on cost, quality and delivery improvements across the process engineering scope in a high-volume environment.

You will track downtime and scrap, participate in client meetings, drive NPI reviews and implement robust process control methods to sustain efficiency and product quality. Fluency in English and a relevant engineering degree are required.

Formación

• Senior knowledge of SMT.
• Intermediate-Advanced English.
• Proficiency in Minitab and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of SPC.
• Knowledge of backend assembly processes.
• Advanced operations, technical and people/process skills.
• Thorough understanding of Flex and related business.
• Knowledge of multiple functional areas.

Responsabilidades

• Track metrics for downtime and scrap.
• Attend client meetings.
• Lead NPI reviews and process introductions.
• Monitor production lines for performance and quality.
• Define, implement and evaluate manufacturability of designs and processes.
• Identify root causes of manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare justification and procure capital equipment for production.
• Oversee new process equipment production and ECOs.
• Develop robust, repeatable process parameters and control methodologies.
• Troubleshoot process-related issues and drive cycle-time improvements.
• Evaluate engineered materials and implement process improvements.
